Dr. Bahar Anaforoglu Kulunkoglu was born in Giresun, Turkey. She studied physiotherapy and rehabilitation at Hacettepe University, Ankara, Turkey and earned bachelor’s degree in 2003. She took her master’s and doctoral degrees from Hacettepe University, Institute of Health Sciences, Department of Prosthetics- Orthotics and Biomechanics in 2006 and 2011, respectively. She is currently a lecturer and Assistant Professor in Ankara Yildirim Beyazit University, Faculty of of Health Sciences, Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation.

She worked as a physiotherapists in a special education and rehabilitation centre for paediatrics in Ankara between 2003-2006, in Le Court Nursing Home for Leonard Cheshire Foundation in the UK between 2006-2007, in national wheelchair basketball and disabled table tennis teams since 2003.

She had been a lecturer in Baskent University, Faculty of of Health Sciences, Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation between 2008-2014.

She is working for the Health Commision of Turkish Sports of Federation for the Physically Disabled and orginising the health, education and classification affairs and as a classifier for the International Wheelchair Basketball Federation.

She is married and has a daughter.
