Biography: Dr Edward Killan has worked at the University of Leeds since 2004 and is the Audiology Lead within the School of Medicine, where he contributes to the education of a range of healthcare professionals. Prior to this he worked as a clinical scientist specialising in paediatric audiology. His PhD explored suppression mechanisms of otoacoustic emissions evoked by tone bursts, and more recent research interests include investigating factors that affect outcomes post-cochlear implantation. He is currently the vice-Chair of the British Society of Audiology and will take over as Chair in 2018.
