Dr. Nagai is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sports Medicine and Nutrition at the University of Pittsburgh. He completed his PhD in Rehabilitation Science at the University of Pittsburgh, MS in Exercise Physiology at the University of Utah, and BS in Athletic Training at the University of Charleston. Dr. Nagai’s research interests include the sensorimotor system in relation to musculoskeletal injuries and functional joint stability, intervention strategies for injury prevention and human performance optimization, neck pain/low back pain in military, and amphibious warfighter research.

Dr. Paul Di Cesareis President of DiCesare MD Consulting specializing in healthcare and biotechnology consultation services. Dr. DiCesare is former Professor and Chair, of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento, California which superseded his tenure as Professor and Chief of the Adult Reconstructive Service and Director of the Musculoskeletal Research Center of the NYU-Hospital for Joint Diseases Department of Orthopaedic Surgery in Manhattan, New York. His clinical practice specialized in complex primary, revision, and primary hip and knee replacement, infected total hip and knee replacements and knee arthroscopic surgery; his laboratory research interests focused on the biology of cartilage; causes, treatments, and methods to monitor cartilage degeneration in osteoarthritis as well as the biomechanics of a number of implants and orthopaedic reconstruction designs. He completed his orthopaedic residency at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles; then one year fellowship in Adult Reconstructive Surgery and Musculoskeletal Research at the ME Mueller Foundation and the University of Bern in Switzerland. Then he worked for department of orthopedic surgery, the second affiliated hospital of Fujian Medical University. He started his residency in July 2003 and was promoted to attending physician in July 2011. Dr. Lin had demonstrated excellent clinical and research skills. Six years of being a research assistant during his Master degree and Ph.D. degree study had equipped him with various techniques in conducting research using molecular biology and animal models. Also he spent one year in University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth, USA for the Post-Doctoral Training. His work has been published in various local and international journals. And he was awarded 8 foundations from 2012 to 2016. He was appointed as an associate professor at Fujian Medical University in December 2016.

Dr. Masoud Mohammadnezhad is an Associate Professor in the Department of Public Health and Primary Health Care and is Head of the Discipline of Health Promotion at Fiji National University. He received his BSc in Nursing and his MSc in Health Education from Iran. He finished his PhD in Public Health at Flinders University, Adelaide, Australia. He has strong teaching experience from the undergraduate to doctoral levels. Masoud is a highly experienced and well qualified Public Health Educator having taught and practiced Health Education and Promotion in several institutions in Iran, Australia, and Fiji.
He not only possesses a strong background in Health Promotion but also possesses a strong working knowledge in social determinants of health, primary health care and research methodology. He is specifically interested in the use of tailoring in behavior change interventions and the use of behavioral change models and health promotion.
My research interests primarily lie in understanding how to change health behaviours. I am also specifically interested in the use of tailoring in behaviour change interventions and the use of behavioural change models and health promotion. My research works also focus on the following areas: family health, and health promotion and education, behavioural change models, chronic disease, community development (Urban and Rural Development), migration and public health, primary health care, public health and migration, ageing, ethnicity, the health effects of tobacco, smoking cessation and tobacco control, effectiveness of behavioural support in smoking cessation, children health, and overweight and obesity. I also have a particular interest in research around lay and professional perceptions, knowledge and understandings of health, health policy, healthcare, and how these perceptions vary spatially and by socio-cultural group. As I conducted both my masters and PhD theses among minority peoples with different culture, they will give me a great deal of experience to work across cultures in other countries.
