Introduction

The term- 'Orthopaedics' was coined by French physician and writer Nicholas Andry in 1741, derived from Greek words for "correct" or "straight" ("orthos") and "child" ("paidion"). Orthopaedics is a branch of medical science concerned with the correction or prevention of deformities, disorders or injuries of the skeleton and related structures such as tendons and ligaments.

Archives of Clinical and Experimental Orthopaedics publishes precisely peer-reviewed manuscripts that streamline reliable and updated sources of information in all arenas of clinical and experimental orthopaedics.

Reasons for Publishing

The biggest issue facing orthopaedic surgeons in the coming years will be responding to change. To cite precisely, there will be an exponential increase in demand for orthopaedic procedures including arthroplasty. Furthermore, there will be an ever-changing business model including patient empowerment and centric care, health center integration and narrow provider networks.

Therefore, Archives of Clinical and Experimental Orthopaedics took the initiative to publish manuscripts illustrating different uncultivated research aspects of orthopedics such as how an orthopedic surgeon is very clear and transparent in choosing a specific intervention for the patients, why they are confident about its effectiveness and how they evaluate their success results.

Aim of the Journal

Archives of Clinical and Experimental Orthopaedics seeks to publish manuscripts evaluating broad spectrum of orthopedic conditions in clinical and experimental environment.
