Dr. Paul Di Cesareis President of DiCesare MD Consulting specializing in healthcare and biotechnology consultation services. Dr. DiCesare is former Professor and Chair, of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento, California which superseded his tenure as Professor and Chief of the Adult Reconstructive Service and Director of the Musculoskeletal Research Center of the NYU-Hospital for Joint Diseases Department of Orthopaedic Surgery in Manhattan, New York. His clinical practice specialized in complex primary, revision, and primary hip and knee replacement, infected total hip and knee replacements and knee arthroscopic surgery; his laboratory research interests focused on the biology of cartilage; causes, treatments, and methods to monitor cartilage degeneration in osteoarthritis as well as the biomechanics of a number of implants and orthopaedic reconstruction designs. He completed his orthopaedic residency at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles; then one year fellowship in Adult Reconstructive Surgery and Musculoskeletal Research at the ME Mueller Foundation and the University of Bern in Switzerland. He is board certified, a member of the AAOS and Hip Society and has authored over 150 peer reviewed publications.
