My research has focused primarily on understanding the role of microparasites in colonization of water resources by alien species. I also investigate the morphology and ultrastructure of microsporidia, myxosporidia and other organisms previously classified as Protozoa. Comparative studies of the results of molecular diagnostics and classical methods of research are the priority areas of my recent research.
